BODY ODOUR
How to Bathe
-
Pour scented bath oil or bubble bath in the water and run the tap. Do not make it too hot, 75 to 80OF, being hot enough. In the morning, a shower is best. Cold water closes the skin pores and helps you shake off early morning sluggishness.
-
While the tap is running, undress and tuck you hair away from your face and neck. Remove face make-up, if any, with a cleansing lotion. Blow your nose and clean the nostril with a little damp absorbent cotton.
-
Take off your bath robe and get into the bath tub, and relax completely for a few minutes.
-
Now apply soap to the upper part of your body. Rub every part except your breasts with the friction mitt, paying particular attention to your neck. This is usually a neglected area which sometimes becomes grey because of bad circulation. Rubbing with the mitt will help to improve this.
-
Use
the friction mitt to give circulation to your upper arms,
elbows and shoulders as well as the legs, bottom, heels and
ankles. Use a bath brush to give your back a thorough scrub
and prevent spots. Use an anti-perspirant on the
armpits.
-
Relax again completely for at least five minutes before stepping out of the bath. Then towel your body dry by patting and rubbing it very gently and apply talcum powder on the underarms, on the feet and on the pubic area with firm, gentle strokes. Rub body lotion or massage cream on the rest of your body. Use both hands to rub it well over your back, bottom, breasts, legs, stomach and arms. Do not forget to wash your eyes and to clean your navel.
-
After your bath, try to relax for few minutes before applying make-up and dressing. After relaxing, if you have time, give yourself a manicure and pedicure before dressing.
